Lecture: Lawrence Durell, Herald of Esoteric Fiction

A bringer of Gnosis through his literary art, Lawrence Durrell (1912-1990) was a British novelist, poet, dramatist, and travel writer whose work very much merits rediscovery. Best known is his literary tetralogy, The Alexandria Quartet, the first of which, Justine, was publish in 1957.
This is the third and final lecture in the series Gnosis in Art and Literature.
Dr. Hoeller has presented weekly lectures for more than 30 years, and continues to impart valuable and unique insights on Gnosticism, C. G. Jung, mysticism, magic, alchemy and subjects relating to wisdom in culture and history.
