Lecture: Magic and its Myth of Exalted Consciousness

Examines the continuum of Egyptian and Hellenistic theurgy to the mysticism of the High Middle Ages and Renaissance, to the descendant ceremonial magic of the 19th and 20th centuries in the West.
This is the second lecture in the series The Esoteric Myth.
Dr. Hoeller has presented weekly lectures for more than 30 years, and continues to impart valuable and unique insights on Gnosticism, C. G. Jung, mysticism, magic, alchemy and subjects relating to wisdom in culture and history.
